s e w : m u c h - s e w : l i t t l e

Hello gang! I finally can breath again (both literally and metaphorically)! Final exams are over and now I have a chance to catch up on blog postings and do alittle sewing - hooray!

With the holidays coming up, of course, I have some sewing projects to do. I will get a post up later this week showing my black velvet new years eve dress that needs some alterations :] But for now, I believe I owe you some pictures of the yellow dress that I wore to Soul Club.

Soul Club (for those of you who don't know) is a once a month event in Ann Arbor that plays a bunch of greats records that people can get dancey too. I wore my beehive (of course), a pair of white circle earrings, my favorite sweedish hasbeens shoes, and my newly altered yellow dress! (It fit so well and was great to dance in - lots of room for movement) I met my boyfriend Andrew there, and our good friends Ryan and Mike - I think we all had a swell time!

The music was great, the people got sweaty, and I did alittle dancing on stage! I hope the long wait for these pictures was worth it- but I promise to post more of my sewing adventures over winter break.
ta ta for now!
