s e w : d o t s & s p o t s

Hey folks! Heres a quick mid-week post for you too take a gander at. I recently went to go visit my good friend Mike Myers in East Lansing, and got a chance to do a little thrifting out there. I found this nice little poka-dot skirt for a couple bucks and all it needed was a quick hem. So what to did I do? HEM IT - of course!

AND HERE'S WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE AFTER!!

The sun was super bright and in my eyes so I tried to do the quick "open you eyes before the camera snaps" trick, and I think I just ended up looking fierce haha.

So after a good one day of wearing, what do I do? I GET PERMANENT MARKER ON THE FRONT OF IT.... grr. And as I was trying different sorts of methods to get the spots off, what do I do? I  made the spots expand and managed to discolor the fabric around it.... grr x2. 

So soon I will be posting what I ended up doing with the half ruined skirt. Its a mystery surprise!!
